About Us – Our Story

Our founder

Gulbarganet Broadband began its journey in 2013, in partnership with RailWire, the retail broadband initiative of RailTel Corporation of India (a Government of India enterprise under the Ministry of Railways). Our vision was clear from the start — to bridge the digital divide in Gulbarga (Kalaburagi) and surrounding areas by providing reliable, high-speed internet and IT services for homes, businesses, and educational institutions.

In our early days, we deployed coaxial cable networks to deliver basic broadband services to residential and commercial customers. As the demand for faster, more stable connections grew, we quickly upgraded to LAN cable technology, enabling higher speeds and better service reliability.

A major milestone was reached when we introduced Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) services powered by RailWire’s extensive national fiber backbone. This allowed us to bring gigabit-class fiber connectivity directly to homes, schools, and businesses — replacing outdated systems with high-end, future-proof technology designed for modern digital needs.

Supporting the Community During COVID-19

During the challenging COVID-19 pandemic, Gulbarganet Broadband played a crucial role in enabling Work-from-Home (WFH) and online education for hundreds of families, students, and professionals across the region. We ensured uninterrupted service, timely network upgrades, and prompt technical support, helping our clients stay productive, connected, and safe from their homes during lockdowns.
